Keep it Clean

Makeup brushes are a breeding ground for bacteria and may cause acne breakouts. Get in the habit of washing your brushes on a regular basis. Doing so will also help to extend the life of the brush and help with better makeup application. We suggest cleaning your brushes once every week.

Be sure to use a mild natural cleanser and warm water to gently clean your brushes. Our favorite is Dr. Bronners liquid Castile Soap. Avoid scrubbing the brush bristles. Shape the brushes while wet and let them air dry to preserve their smoothness. Lay brushes flat to avoid damaging the bristles.
