Nothing compares to skin that looks youthful and radiant. Regular exfoliation and natural skin care products make a difference. It is never too late to have nice skin.
Your body needs water and plenty of it. Be sure to keep your body well hydrated throughout the day. Doing so will help the appearance of your skin. Don't like the thought of drinking plain water? No worries. you can naturally flavor your water overnight by adding lemon slices and fresh mint, other fruits, or even cucumbers to a pitcher of water. It tastes so refreshing and it's easy to do. Gives you the experience of drinking "spa" water in your home or on the go. It is one of my new favorites. So simple and your skin will thank you too.
Think Positive Thoughts
Have you found yourself thinking negative thoughts about yourself. Things like who am I to be beautiful? I wish I looked like so and so. I can't do anything right. Why can't I be more like her? You get the idea. I spent too many years of my life comparing myself to other women. Make it a habit of looking at yourself in the mirror and say aloud: I am beautiful. It's not enough to just think it, you must verbalize it outloud. It may be difficult at first, but be diligent. I know you can do it.
Now hear this: We don't have to believe and dwell on every thought that pops into our heads. We can, however, choose to replace that negative thought with something positive.
One of my favorite quotes is from Maryanne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
What would happen if we choose to dwell on the belief that "we are powerful beyond measure?" How would that statement impact not only our lives, but the lives of those around us?
